DIETICIANS SAY LOOK BEYOND THE "SINGLE" MEAL to ensure your child has healthful choices all day.  Smarter eating includes: NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST, limit fruit juices, include protein and vegetables daily.  For toddlers - milk and water should be the primary beverage.  Keep choices of fruits and veges in the refrigerator.  See this link for futher details.
